• *In the event that the same soloist has two or more solos that qualify for an overall solo award, only their high mark will be taken. However, the soloist will also qualify for the Top Soloist Award. *Top Soloist Award will only be awarded if there are 2 or more competitors in that age division.

Awarded to the studio with the highest average drawn from their top 5 group marks + top 5 solo marks = top ten total mark average.​

BDC Blockbusters Award

This category is for our performers with special needs, physical and developmental challenges. It will provide the opportunity to have their own moment onstage in a category exclusive for them!  All entries in this category will receive audio adjudications, and placement ribbons during regular adjudications. 

Dances can be any genre and group size. All competitors will be scored on the Novice/Minor scale.

Chain of Dancer Fellowship Award

This is a fun new award given to dancers BY dancers!...  During the 1st adjudication, a dancer will be selected by our BDC team for good sportsmanship and positive backstage energy and shall receive a BDC silver/suede bracelet. At the next adjudication, that dancer will pass on the Chain of Dancer Fellowship Award by selecting a new recipient that they nominate from a studio other than their own.

This "pass it on" award continues for each consecutive adjudication session.....

Each selected Fellowship winner receives a BDC silver/suede bracelet!

Top Breakthru Award

The adjudicator's choice for the most outstanding performance out of all small groups, large groups or lines in the Major division.
